Finishing the project De Kleermakerij

De Kleermakerij (Tailormade)

An interdisciplinary project lost between performance and installation. "Work in progress". An encounter with humans primary protection attributes. From Thursday until Sunday during openinghours I will be working in the tailor's shop I build especially for this project. On show are for example textile installations and Soft Shell Sculptures. After the second week the admission will be € 2,-pp

Performances
Due to the openingact ten sewingmachines will spring into action simultaniously. Lunches, diners, fashionshow and business-hierarchy where consumers interact with the employees and me posing as a businessman dressed in a 3-piece suit. Customers visiting the show can order 'tailor made' clothes or place all kinds of orders for example to pimp up their old clothes.
